语法点： 想 + Verb
想, as a modal verb, can be used with verb to express a hope or plan, or to say politely that you want something (same as "would like" in English).
  1. Nǐ xiǎng hē bēi chá ma?
    你想喝杯茶吗?
    Would you like a cup of tea?
  2. Wǒ xiǎng qù xuéxiào.
    我想去学校。
    I want to go to school.

语法点： Numeral + 个 + Noun | Pronoun + 个 + Noun
个 is a universal measure word for people or things.
  1. Tā shì yīgè piàoliang nǚhái.
    她是一个漂亮女孩。
    She is a pretty girl.
  2. Jīntiān wǒ zuòle sān gè cài.
    今天我做了三个菜。
    I made three dishes today.

语法点： 1 元 = 10 角 = 100 分 | 1 块 = 10 毛 = 100 分
The basic unit of Renminbi(人民币-Chinese currency) is "元"，a simplification of 圆 and abbreviated ￥. It is subdivided into 10 角 and 100 分.
元/角/分 are used in formal and written language. 块/毛/分 are used in spoken Chinese. The sentence pattern is Subject + Numeral + Unit(元/块...).
  1. “Zhèxiē píngguǒ duōshǎo qián?” “Èrshísān kuài.”
    “这些苹果多少钱？” “23 块。”
    "How much are these apples?" "￥23."
  2. Zhè běn shū 25 yuán.
    这本书 25 元.
    This book costs ￥25.
语法点： Subject + (Verb) + 多少 + (Measure Word) + Noun?
The interrogative pronoun 多少 is used to ask about quantity. It is used to expect a number in the answer which is over ten. The measure word following it can be omitted. 多少 can also be used to inquire about prices, usually in the sentence pattern Subject + 多少钱？.
  1. Nà jiā gōngsī yǒu duōshǎo yuángōng?
    那家公司有多少员工？
    How many employees are there in the company?
  2. Qù běijīng de fēijī piào duōshǎo qián?
    去北京的飞机票多少钱？
    How much is the flight ticket to Beijing?
