语法点: 多 + 大/少/高/重/远 "How...?"
You can use 多 to ask various questions: 多大 "How old?"; 多少 "How many?"; 多远 "How far?"; 多高 "How high/tall?"; 多重 "How heavy?".

语法点: (N) 十/百/千/万 + 多 + Measure Word + Noun
To express the approximate numbers of 十,百,千 or 万,多 is used between 十/百/千/万 and the measure word.
Top- Tā huāle shí duō gè xiǎoshí kàn wán zhè běn shū.
她花了十多个小时看完这本书。
She spent more than ten hours reading the book. - Zhège xuéxiào yǒu yībǎi duō míng xuéshēng.
这个学校有一百多名学生。
This school has more than one hundred students. - Tāmen gōngsī yǒu liǎng qiān duō wèi yuángōng.
他们公司有两千多位员工。
Their company has more than two thousand employees. - Yīgòng yǒu sān wàn duō rén cānguānle zhège bówùguǎn.
一共有三万多人参观了这个博物馆。
A total of more than 30,000 people visited the museum.
语法点: Adverb + 多(的) + Noun
The monosyllabic adjective 多 usually is not used alone to modify a noun. It is often used with adverbs like 很, 好, 这么. And the attributive marker 的 can be omitted.
Top- Nǐ mǎile zhème duō shū.
你买了这么多书。
You bought so many books. - Tā yǒu hǎoduō péngyǒu.
他有好多朋友。
He has many friends. - Tiānshàng yǒu hěnduō xīngxīng.
天上有很多星星。
There are many stars in the sky.
语法点: Personal Pronoun (的) + Noun
When the personal pronoun is used as an attributive before a noun that represents a country, organization, institution, relative, etc., the attributive mark 的 can be omitted.
Top- Tā bùshì wǒ tóngxué, tā shì wǒ péngyǒu.
她不是我同学,她是我朋友。
She isn't my classmate. She is my friend. - Nǐ bàba zàijiā ma?
你爸爸在家吗?
Is your father at home? - Tāmen gōngsī yǒu liǎng qiān duō wèi yuángōng.
他们公司有两千多位员工。
Their company has more than two thousand employees.
