Tiānqì yuè lái yuè hǎo le, zhège zhōumò wǒmen yīqǐ chūqù wánr ba.
天气越来越好了，这个周末我们一起出去玩儿吧。
Wǒ bùnéng qù. Wǒ ér zǐ shēngbìng le, wǒ yào zàijiā zhàogù tā.
我不能去。我儿子生病了，我要在家照顾他。
Tā chī yào le ma? Yào bùyào qù yīyuàn?
他吃药了吗？要不要去医院？

语法点 Grammar Points
【语法点 1】 越来越 + Adj. | 越来越 + Verb
The structure "越来越……" indicates a person or thing changes gradually as time passes. The negative form of this structure indicates that something becomes gradually smaller in amount or happens less often.
Tiān shàng de yún yuè lái yuè duō.
天上的云越来越多。There are more and more clouds in the sky.
Tā biàn dé yuè lái yuè piàoliang le.
她变得越来越漂亮了。She became more and more beautiful．
Tā duì zhè mén xuékē yuè lái yuè gǎn xìngqù.
她对这门学科越来越感兴趣。She grew more and more interested in this subject.
Wǒ yuè lái yuè bù xiǎng qù shàngbān le.
我越来越不想去上班了。I don't want to go to work any later.
【语法点 2】 ! 越来越 + Degree Adverb X
Please note that the structure "越来越……" cannot be used with Degree Adverbs, such as: 非常，很，太.
Tā yuè lái yuè xǐhuān wán yóuxì le.
他越来越喜欢玩游戏了。He likes playing games more and more.
x 他越来越太喜欢玩游戏了。
Tā yuè lái yuè huì zhàogù zìjǐ le.
他越来越会照顾自己了。He's more and more able to look after himself.
x 他越来越很会照顾自己了。
Tā duì zhè mén xuékē yuè lái yuè gǎn xìngqù.
她对这门学科越来越感兴趣。She grew more and more interested in this subject.
x 她对这门学科越来越非常感兴趣。
【语法点 3】 Sentence + 了。
When used at the end of a declarative sentence, the modal particle 了 indicates a change of situation or the occurrence of a new situation.
Gōnggòng qìchē qìchē lái le.
公共汽车来了。There comes a bus．
Jiù zài zhège shíhòu, mén kāi le.
就在这个时候，门开了。At this very moment, the door opened.
Wǒmen dào zhàn shí, tiān dū yǐjīng hēi le.
我们到站时，天都已经黑了。It was already dark by the time we arrived at the station.
Dàxuě guòhòu, tiān qíng le.
大雪过后，天晴了。After heavy snowfall, the sky was fine.
