语法点 Grammar Points
【语法点 1】 N + Measure Word + 左右
左右 can be used after a Numeral-Measure Word phrase to indicate an approximate number. It can be used for either a specific time or a time interval. It also can be used to express the approximation of Age, Distance, Money, Weight and Height etc.
Zhège rènwu xūyào 4 zhōu zuǒyòu de shíjiān.
这个任务需要四周左右的时间。This task takes about 4 weeks.
Wǒ jiàng zài xiàwǔ 3 diǎn zuǒyòu hé nǐ jiànmiàn.
我将在下午三点左右和你见面。I will meet you at around 3 pm.
Tā 30 suì zuǒyòu, shì yī míng zhōngxué lǎoshī.
她30岁左右，是一名中学老师。She is in her 30s and is a middle school teacher.

【语法点 2】 (请) 把 + Object + Verb + ……
The structure "(请)把 + Object + Verb" can be used to request or order someone to do something.
Qǐng bǎ zhuōzi shàng de shū zhěnglǐ yīxià.
请把桌子上的书整理一下。Please tidy up the books on the table.
Qǐng bǎ zhè piān wénzhāng fānyì chéng hànyǔ.
请把这篇文章翻译成汉语。Please translate this article into Chinese.
Qǐng bǎ zhèxiē hézi cóng dà dào xiǎo páiliè.
请把这些盒子从大到小排列。Please arrange these boxes from largest to smallest.

【语法点 3】 把 + Object + Verb + Complement
In the 把-sentence, the preposition 把 and the object are used as the adverbial before the verb and complement.

Nǐ yào bǎ shùzì xiě qīngchǔ.
你要把数字写清楚。You need to write down the numbers clearly.
Wǒ bǎ zuòyè zuò wán le.

【语法点 4】 把 + Object + Verb + [在/到 location]
In a 把-sentence, a prepositional phrase(在/到 + location) can be used as a location complement after the verb.
Nǐ bǎ wǒ de sǎn fàng zài nǎr le?
你把我的伞放在哪儿了？Where did you put my umbrella?
Qǐng nǐ bǎ lājī rēng dào lājītǒng lǐ.
请你把垃圾扔到垃圾桶里。Please throw the trash into garbage can.
Nǐ bǎ tā sòng dào yīyuàn qù le ma?
你把他送到医院去了吗？Did you send him to the hospital?
Tā bǎ bāo fàng zài zhuōzi shàng.

【语法点 5】 把 + Object1 + Verb给 + Object2 (Recipient)
Certain verbs can be used in the structure "把 + Obj.1 + Verb给 + Obj.2" to indicate an action that causes something to change hands. The 2nd object is the recipient of the 1st object.
Such verbs include: 带, 拿, 寄, 交, 送, 借, 还, 留, 卖, etc.
