Ci Poems
yī jiǎn méi
李清照
hóng ǒu xiāng cán yù diàn qiū,
qīng jiě luō shang,
dú shàng lán zhōu.
yún zhōng shéi jì jǐn shū lái,
yàn zì huí shí,
yuè mǎn xī lóu.
huā zì piāolíng shuǐ zìliú,
yī zhǒng xiāngsī,
liǎng chù xián chóu.
cǐ qíng wú jì kě xiāochú,
cái xià méitóu,
què shàng xīntóu.
To the Tune of Yijianmei
Li Qingzhao (1084-1155 AD)
Lotus withering, fragrance diminishing and the bamboo mat turning cold,
Lifted the silk robe slightly,
I boarded the magnolia boat alone.
Who sent the letter from the clouds above?
At the time of wild geese flying to south in skein,
The moonlight poured into west tower.
Flowers falling and water flowing,
One kind of longing,
Two parted persons' woe.
I found no way to get rid of this sentiment,
Gone from the eyebrows,
Into the heart it would go.
